Firm recruits for project engineer jobs in Chicago

An energy firm has announced a key hire for project engineer jobs in Chicago.
SmartWatt Energy, Inc. is pleased to announce that Aaron Raftery has recently joined the company as Project Engineer in the company’s Chicago, IL, office.
SmartWatt Energy is a leading nationwide provider of turnkey energy-efficiency solutions for commercial, industrial, government and utility customers. The number of cold storage LED lighting retrofit projects and comprehensive energy efficiency solutions for the food processing industry in the Midwest continues to grow, with major projects currently underway with Americold and Seneca Foods as part of SmartWatt Energy’s National Accounts program.

Aaron Raftery, of Chicago, IL, has three years of experience in the management of turnkey energy efficiency programs. He was integral in developing Lime Energy’s Buffalo office in 2009 to administer National Grid’s Small Business Direct Install Program in Western, New York. In 2010, Aaron created and managed a new program for Lime Energy, which targeted mid to large sized commercial and industrial businesses in Upstate New York. Aaron earned his Master’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, where he was a GAAN Fellowship recipient. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biomechanics from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Aaron will be developing and managing projects throughout the Midwest.
