ContextMedia is growing and creating more Chicago health information jobs.
ContextMedia is a health information services company, providing patient education solutions for healthcare professionals in the chronic disease care sector.
The company plans to hire an additional 200 jobs in Chicago this year including positions across all functional areas and skill levels.
ContextMedia also expects to add 400 additional jobs in Chicago next year as it continues to expand.
The company, which moved into its current 33,000 square foot headquarters at 330 North Wabash Avenue in April, has already outgrown its space and will be looking to expand in 2015.
The company, which started 2014 with 46 full-time employees, ended the year with over 110 and plans to double its growth for each of the next two years, hiring 200 new employees this year, and an additional 400 employees in 2016. Hires will be made across numerous skill levels and sectors, including sales and marketing, analysts and software developers.
“We’re excited to continue growing ContextMedia and demonstrating that world class technology companies are being built and scaled in Chicago,” said Founder and CEO Rishi Shah. “There’s no limit to what our ecosystem can achieve with a Mayor that is committed to building a city that will attract and retain one of the best workforces in the world.”
“ContextMedia is a great example of the tech economy we have in Chicago today and the even stronger tech economy we are building for tomorrow,” Mayor Emanuel said. “The City of Chicago used to be the flyover city for the tech community. Today we are becoming the destination city for the best tech companies and the best tech talent, as the great team at ContextMedia can attest.”
